Residence 1 – 3 Bedrooms/Loft/2.5 Baths/2-car Garage – 1,771 sq.ft.

Residence 2 – 3 or 4 Bedrooms/Loft or Bed 4/2.5 Baths/2-car Garage – 1,864 sq.ft.

Residence 3 – 3 or 4 Bedrooms/Loft or Bed 4/2.5 Baths/Office/Tech Space/2-car Garage – 2,037 sq.ft.

The community amenities will include 5 acres of private parks and over 100 acres of surrounding open space with multiple trails for biking, walking, or running.
During construction the monthly HOA dues are estimated to vary from $90 to $142. Monthly HOA dues are currently estimated to be $93 at buildout. The HOA dues cover limited insurance and maintenance of the common areas, community amenities, and private streets.

The anticipated overall tax rate for homes at The Promontory community will be approximately 1.7% of the purchase price, inclusive of all special assessments and Community Facility District charges. The actual tax rate will vary depending on the sale price of the home and the square footage of the home.

Once you have been pre-qualified with CrossCountry Mortgage you can use the lender of your choice to finance your new home.

Steps to Purchase

Please make an appointment with the Calistoga sales manager. The sales manager will discuss availability, estimated move-in dates, estimated monthly payments, the pre-qualification process, and other important details of purchasing a new home at Calistoga.

Cash Buyers: If you are not financing your new home, you simply need to provide proof of funds totalling the purchase price plus any closing costs. Please consult the sales manager on the appropriate documentation.

PLEASE NOTE: Earnest money deposit for a home purchase at Calistoga is $10,000. Because of the partnership between Cornerstone Communities and CrossCountry Mortgage the earnest money deposit is discounted to $5,000 if you choose CrossCountry Mortgage to finance your new home.

After meeting with the sales manager and choosing the home you would like to purchase, the sales manager will send you a link to CrossCountry’s on-line pre-qualification application.

Prospective buyers who are married will utilize the same application, while separate applications are necessary for each unmarried prospective buyer. For the most efficient processing, your application should be completed thoroughly.

You will need to email all the following documents to CrossCountry Mortgage:

  • Official Bank statements for each account you have for the prior 2 months (all pages)
  • Pay-stubs covering the prior 30 days
  • Federal Tax Returns for the prior 2 years (including all schedules and attachments)
  • W-2s from the prior 2 years
  • Loan Worksheet Questionnaire (provided by sales manager)
  • Buyer’s Certification and Authorization (provided by sales manager)
  • Buyer’s Profile Form (provided by sales manager)

You will need to submit all required documents, filled out completely, to CrossCountry Mortgage. Upon receipt of your documents they will be reviewed for completeness and you will be contacted if additional documents or clarifications are needed.
It is critical that you quickly respond to any requests for clarification or additional documentation from CrossCountry Mortgage so they can begin the pre-qualification process. The length of the pre-qualification process is dependent on the completeness of your application and your response time to any documentation requests made. Once CrossCountry has received all the required documentation they will proceed with the pre-qualification.
